Common Questions

How do I edit my business name and logo on estimates?
Open the app, tap Settings, then Business Profile. Upload your logo, edit business name, technician name, certifications, contact info, and shop address. Every estimate and PDF will use your branding.

How do I back up my data?
Open Settings, tap Backup My Data, then Backup Now. The app creates a single .zip file containing all customers, estimates, photos, signatures, and settings. Save it to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, email it to yourself, or AirDrop to another device.

How do I restore from a backup?
Open Settings, tap Backup My Data, then Restore From Backup. Pick the .zip file. Confirm. Your data will be replaced with the contents of the backup.

How do I change pricing?
Open Settings. Under Pricing, you can edit Hail Presets, Hail R&I items, Retail Base Pricing, Multipliers, and Volume Discounts. Every change applies to all new estimates.

What does the fuel gauge at the bottom mean?
That's the Tip Jar. The app is free forever. The gauge shows whether you have an active tip supporting development. After you tip, the gauge hides on most screens for a grace period based on the tier.

What is the Tech Network?
The Tech Network is an optional feature that lets technicians sign in with Google to access community chat and a live radar showing other techs active in the area. You can use the entire estimating workflow without signing in.

What is Global Chat?
Global Chat is an optional community chat for technicians using the app. Do not post customer names, customer contact information, or private business details in chat. To report inappropriate messages or users, email info@DentRepairUSA.com.

How do I delete my Tech Network account?
Email info@DentRepairUSA.com from the email address associated with your Google Sign-In account. We will remove your account and associated profile data from Firebase within 30 days.

Is my customer data shared with anyone?
No. Customer data is stored locally on your device. We do not sell, share, or transmit your customer data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
