Psalm Song for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and the Psalms pages on ispress.de, paulwhitehorn.com and dentrepairusa.com. Last updated October 5, 2026.
The short version. We do not ask for your name, your email address or an account. We do not show ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share anything about you. The one thing we record is which Psalm was played, so that we can show how many times each song has been heard.
When you have listened to a Psalm for 30 seconds, the app or the web page sends one small message to our server at ispress.de. It contains:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| The number of the Psalm | To count how many times each Psalm has been played. The totals are shown to every listener. |
| A random identifier | A random number made on your device the first time you use the app or the page. It lets us count listeners without knowing who they are. It is not your name, your Apple Account, your advertising identifier or your device serial number. |
| Where you listened | iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or website, and the app version. |
| Your country or region setting | The two-letter region from your device or browser language setting (for example "US"). It is not your location. |
| The playlist name, if any | To see which of our built-in playlists and genres are used. The name of a playlist you make yourself is never sent; it is recorded only as "My Playlist". |
| The time | To count plays per day. |
We do not store your IP address with these records. We use them only to count plays and to understand which Psalms and playlists are heard most. They are not linked to your identity and are not used to track you.
Your favorites, the Psalms you have marked as learned, your recently played list, your own playlists and your settings are kept on your device. They are not sent to us.
The Psalm Song subscription is sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details, your name or your email address. The app only asks Apple whether a subscription is active on the device. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the purchase.
The recordings are streamed from ispress.de. Like every web server, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, the file requested and the browser or app type) for security and troubleshooting. We do not combine these logs with the play records above.
The web pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
Psalm Song is suitable for families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app does not ask anyone for personal information.
You can ask what play records exist for your random identifier, or ask us to delete them, by writing to the address below. Deleting the app removes the identifier and everything stored on your device. On the web, clearing your browser's site data removes the identifier.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
