Companion Workbook
A printable study guide to the letter of James. For every chapter: the chapter in brief, its picture word, a memory verse in our own translation, one Greek word studied, the way the chapter moves, the Old Testament passages it quotes, and a worksheet with blanks, a quiz and questions for a class. By Dr. P. O. Whitehorn.
Download the whole workbook PDF · 20 pages · 5 MBFree to print and copy for your church, class, school or home. Please do not sell it.
Listen
Hear each chapter sung, free on this site or in the James by Heart app for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Android. The app reads the whole book aloud and its games drill the same picture words and verses.
Study
Read the chapter in your Bible, then the first page of its lesson. Try the worksheet without looking back; the answers are upside down at the foot of the page.
Teach
Print the two pages for one chapter for each person in your class, play the song, and use the three “Talk it over” questions. One chapter a week takes a class through the whole of James in five weeks.
